What began as a terrifying medical descent transformed into a testimony of resilience. In 2020, as my daughter’s health reached its most fragile point, our days blurred into a series of intensive care units, hospital rooms, missed school days, and emotional exhaustion. Feeding tubes, sedations, suregeries, and unanswered questions became our new normal.
But even in the darkness—she held on. To her health. To her education. To her future. Her courage never wavered, and together, we turned survival into strength.
She wore her feeding tube in public with pride—not shame. She stayed focused on graduation, despite a school system that constantly told her to wait. With every setback, she showed up—fierce, determined, and full of grace.
Today, she’s not only surviving—she’s thriving.
Graduated on time. Enrolled in college. Balancing work and health with purpose. Her A1C is a proud 6.6, and as she transitions from pediatric care, she does so equipped with self-advocacy and unwavering strength.
What fills me with the greatest pride isn’t just how far she’s come—but how much she gives.
She volunteers with a cheer squad for children with disabilities, inspires other youth facing challenges of their own, and dreams of building a career centered on service.
She’s still my shadow, my miracle, my teacher. And I will keep fighting for her—and for others like her—every single day.
My passion for advocacy was born from personal experience—and deeply rooted in faith. As a mother of a child with complex medical needs, I’ve lived through the sleepless nights, critical care units, the endless hospital stays, the school meetings where I had to explain again and again what my daughter needed to thrive.
This is my calling. With over two decades in early childhood education and school leadership, I now use my voice, my knowledge, and my heart to stand in the gap for families who need someone to help them navigate the complex systems of education and healthcare.
At Bridge to Thrive, I help families turn overwhelm into empowerment. Whether your child is newly diagnosed, struggling in school, or facing challenges that seem too big to handle alone—you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
I’m here to walk with you. To help your child thrive.
Through it all, I’ve clung to the wisdom of Proverbs 31:8-9:
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves… defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
Bridge to Thrive was born from this very journey—one filled with pain, beauty, setbacks, and victories. We’ve lived it. We understand the maze of hospital rooms, school meetings, medical accommodations, and emotional breakdowns.
We know what it’s like to feel unheard and overwhelmed—and what it takes to fight through it.
If your child is facing a complex diagnosis—or if you’re simply tired of navigating schools, care plans, or accommodations on your own—we are ready to stand with you.

Let’s take the first step together.

I quickly stepped into roles I never expected—nurse, nutritionist, advocate, and emotional anchor—navigating hospital stays, medical jargon, and the invisible weight of chronic illness. Every day became a balance between caregiving and survival.
As my daughter’s condition worsened, so did the fight to protect her right to learn.

Pediatric Intensive Care visits and critical diagnoses became our new normal. Yet when we turned to the school system for support, we met delays instead of solutions. Simple options like homebound services were never offered.
Instead, we were met with red tape, resistance, and a lack of understanding—at the exact moment we needed partnership the most.
I never set out to fight the system—I just wanted to keep my child alive. But I had to do both.
That’s why Bridge to Thrive exists: to stand in the gap for families navigating the impossible.
I've walked this road. Now, I walk it with you.
